Offline social connection experience

Shaam Ki Chaai

A social experiment built around the simplest Indian ritual, meeting over a cup of chai. Organised across 20 cities in India, Shaam Ki Chaai brought together 5,000+ attendees in rooms full of strangers. The format removed mobile phones, introduced people through games, and then socially matched attendees based on our reading of their personalities, interests and energy. Each matched pair then spent 30 minutes in conversation over chai. It was designed to bring back offline human connection in an increasingly screen-led world.
